The Plan There are over 1.7 million seriously ill people in Florida. They have the right to safe, affordable, and effective medication. The goal of this committee is to get medical marijuana legal in the state of Florida. We are collecting signatures on a petition to support a constitutional amendment that gives patients the right to grow, obtain, purchase and possess medical marijuana under a doctor's supervision.

There are five types of cancers that marijuana stops tumor cells from spreading: brain, breast, lung, pancreatic, and prostate.
Marijuana is the number one cash crop in the United States and in each of these states: Alaska, Alabama, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, North Carolina, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

We are planning a coordinated statewide fund raising event for late October and early November. We need volunteers, venues, talent, and donations. There are football games happening every weekend through the fall. This is a prime opportunity to collect signatures. Plan on going to the tailgating parties even if you don't attend the game.
